Nonprofit Business Leader
Nathan founded and runs the non-profit organization Leadership Influencing Teen Empowerment (LITE) since 2017. LITE is designed to provide leadership development and emotional intelligence training to students. Founded in Akron, Ohio, LITE has served over 4,500 students since the 2018-2019 school year and continues to serve schools in Northeast Ohio covering topics including but not limited to:
Nathan has traveled across the country facilitating leadership courses for youth and adults. He has served on an international leadership course that taught STEM activities through leadership application to both Chinese and American youth.
Nathan has also traveled to China in 2019 to train leadership skills to Chinese youth. His knowledge of leadership skills and how they can be used to improve and to add value to the lives of other people is one of the main reasons he is running for state representative. Nathan has developed a training module on intercultural communications that is used with the Interamerican region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement which has served a couple hundred 18-26 year olds from 34 countries for multiple years and is still in use today.
Political Organizer
Nathan has been involved with the Summit County Progressive Democrats (SCPD) for 3 years and is currently serving as the organization's president. SCPD is a grassroots organization with a purpose of advancing progressive advocacy in Summit County Ohio. As President, Nathan has led efforts with his team to support progressive issues like:
Climate change
LGBTQ inclusivity
Racial/social justice
Supporting and funding local, state, and federal Democratic candidates
Opposing the August 8th 2023 Issue 1 measure to make amending Ohio's Constitution more difficult
Promoting Issues 1 and 2 to protect reproductive freedom and the legalization of marijuana in the state of Ohio
Nathan is the author of the book Leadership The Universal Skill. This book explores how everyone can be a leader with the right opportunity, practice, and experience. Published in November of 2021, Nathan has helped provide leadership lessons and strategies to help support readers of any age develop leadership skills that can be used in any aspect of life.

Nathan has been involved with progressive grassroots activity for several years. This includes supporting candidates and issues with:

Canvassing/Knocking doors
Signature gathering
Fundraising
Volunteer recruiting
Voting Location Manager with board of elections
Many other tasks to help promote Democratic issues and to elect Democrats in Ohio.
